‘Batman v Superman’ debuts new trailer
The trailer starts off with an awkward introduction between Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne at a social function, with Kent venting about how the Batman vigilante is tearing up Gotham, Wayne hits back by accusing The Daily Planet of only running puff pieces about its dear alien: Superman.
Ben Affleck went on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Wednesday night to debut the new trailer, which gives us a look at the first time Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) meet – and they don’t like each other from the get-to. Luthor’s deadly creation attempts to destroy Batman and Superman but the feuding superheroes are protected by Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) who uses her shield to block Doomsday’s fiery wrath.
You’d think we’d have reached peak insane by now, BUT NO!
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice latest trailer introduces the position of both characters with regard to the power and the law, but then they show things better surprise that they would have kept the same as happened with the progress of Ultron too much information and the end is getting a little predictable.
Clearly there’s some trailer trickery at play here, but the point is this: Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman are finally fighting shoulder-to-shoulder. However, it also looks like director Zack Snyder has just chose to amp the insanity up to 11 and has committed fully to that premise.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice opens everywhere on March 25, 2016. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
