Bayern close to signing Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal
Bayern sold Schweinsteiger to Manchester United on Monday and have quickly set about securing a replacement.
Sky Italia reports that the deal has reached an advanced stage and could even be completed on Thursday night.
Bayern Munich were keen to buy Vidal when he plied his trade in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen, however the midfielder chose to head to Italy with Juventus.
Chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says he wants midfielder Arturo Vidal to join Bayern Munich from Juventus.
Corriere Dello Sport is reporting that Bayern and Vidal have agreed to a four year contract that will pay the Chilean €6.5 million a season.
Juventus are considering spending their money from the imminent sale of Vidal on Julian Draxler or Chelsea misfit Juan Cuadrado.

Vidal, 28, is one of the most highly rated and in-demand midfielders in the soccer world.
Vidal’s agent, Fernando Felicevich, is apparently in Munich already to agree personal terms with Bayern, and it is said that a move is imminent and could be announced today or tomorrow. “If we sign someone, he would be a very good player”.
