Kansas State players are trying to refocus their anger after the loss to find their own turnaround. The home game is against Oklahoma, who has beaten them 10 consecutive times.

But the bigger reason is that unlike a Ryan Mueller, they aren’t putting up eye-popping numbers.

Well, just for the record, the K-State coach was correct.

BOTC: One: the injury to Dante Barnett, who is still in a sling and is therefore probably out for the year.

The bottom line for Strong is he needs to get Texas to a bowl game. That’s got disaster written all over it.

Oklahoma State’s offense, which is tied for 25th in the nation with an average of 463 yards per game, against Kansas’ defense, which has surrendered 559.8 yards per contest, ranking 124th.

There really is no shortage of great teams in other conferences.
