Baylor suspends star defensive end Shawn Oakman for season opener

New SMU coach Chad Morris showed the Mustangs will be different from last season’s 1-11 team from the opening kickoff. The Bears’ offense struggled with SMU’s defensive adjustments, igniting the crowd and convinced a vastly improved band of Mustangs it could hang with the Bears.
