BCCI announces schedule for New Zealand series
Details of the tour, which includes three tests and five one-day internationals from September 22 to October 29, were confirmed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India on Wednesday, with all three tests listed as day matches.
Tammy Beaumont became the first England women’s player to score hundreds in successive One-Day Internationals as the host completed a crushing 3-0 series win with a 202-run victory over Pakistan at Taunton Monday. The third Test will be hosted by Indore from Oct 8 to 12.
The latest itinerary for the upcoming home series published by the BCCI sees New-Zealand playing Three Tests and Five ODIs beginning on the 22nd of September.
“The land of great Syed Mushtaq Ali will host its 1st ever Test Match”.
ODIs: Oct. 16 – First ODI, Dharamsala; Oct. 19 – Second ODI, Delhi; Oct. 23 – Third ODI, Mohali; Oct. 26 – Fourth ODI, Ranchi; Oct. 29 – Fifth ODI, Vizag.
After hosting two IPL matches recently, the Green Park stadium in Kanpur will now host a Test match between India and New Zealand, an official said on Tuesday.
Through his twitter account, newly appointed head coach Anil Kumble urged fans to turn up for the final One-day global in the port city of Visakhapatnam. “That’s the reason we have taken this unique initiative where the players of the national team will announce the schedule”. “Expect more such initiatives in coming days”, he added.
The Duleep Trophy will be played in early week of September but it is looking right know that BCCI could not wait for the Duleep Trophy to get the feedback as Indian team will return from the West Indies tour in the month of September. Thakur, however, said last week that the BCCI was in “no hurry” to go ahead with the experiment.
