Bear cub removed from pizza joint, headed to rehab
According to the Colorado Springs Gazette, the bear nearly caused a local high school to go into lockdown before the school resource officer discovered it was only a cub.
While looking for the bear, the officer was flagged down by employees at Louie’s Pizza about a bear in their store nearby.
The school was not the bear’s ultimate destination, though.

Once in the prep room, she ate some icing off of Louie’s cinna-bread and settled in on a shelf. If all goes well, relocation back to the woods in time for hibernation. They might need to reconsider that practice after a curious young bear cub found its way inside the restaurant.
