Bears Officially Give Up, Trade Jared Allen

Multiple outlets reported that the Panthers and Chicago Bears agreed to terms that sent Jared Allen to Carolina in turn for a first round draft pick.

Allen has to be happy to get out of the hot mess that is Chicago. The Panthers have been looking for more pass rush ever since the Greg Hardy double secret probation went into effect. Regardless they ensured him a huge amount of cash over the initial two years of his agreement.
