It does no good to stockpile all the draft picks team officials seem intent on stockpiling if those picks aren’t going to be used to acquire players who can move the needle.

The Giants were forced to punt on their first possession of the second half, this after a frustrating series where they went three-and-out.

Despite the lopsided score, the Browns were very much in their Week 12 matchup with the Giants nearly the whole way, going into the second half down a touchdown and trailing by one score with six minutes remaining.

Over the last four games, Eli Manning has thrown 12 touchdowns. The Giants would then make it 14-3 late in the second quarter, with Manning finding Beckham over the middle for a 33-yard catch and run into the end zone. Rashad Jennings lead the Giants with 55 yards.

The New York Giants’ offense was hyped to be one of the best in the entire league coming into the year.

Pierre Paul finished with seven tackles and three sacks.

But the Giants have proved they are also a quality team. They’ve sacked opposing quarterbacks at timely moments, and they’ve scored on big plays right when they needed to.

This wasn’t the case during the Giants’ 27-13 Week 12 win over the Cleveland Browns. NY might not look like a good teamon paper this year, but the Giants have the same outlines as their championship-winning predecessors.
