Before We Go Trailer: Chris Evans’ Directorial Debut
Captain America is making his directorial debut in Before We Go, which has finally debuted its first trailer.
Evans, a busker who makes a living playing the trumpet around New York, voluntarily helps Eve who gets her purse stolen while catching a train in Grand Central station. She may or may not be married, he may or may not still be hung up on his ex-fiancee.
The two find out that they have more in common than they imagined (ahem, failed marriages) as they frolic through New York City, eloping into the wee hours of a destiny-filled evening.
Will the night change everything for them or will it end like nothing happened?
Additionally, this is the first time that “The Avengers” star sit in the director’s chair.
Before We Go will be available on video on demand tomorrow, July 21.
The serendipitous encounter leads to a permanent romantic connection over the course of a night, with connections being made to Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy’s relationship in Richard Linklater‘s Before Sunrise.
It hits VOD as of today, with a theatrical release scheduled for September. If you’re eager to see what Evans does when he’s not suited up as Captain America, check out the Before We Go trailer below.
