On August 12, Ben Affleck with a heavy heart revealed that he is “heartbroken” about the suicide of the famous actor Robin Williams. After that his co-star in Good Will Hunting, Matt Damon, stated in a statement that he will never and ever be able to forget the famous and talented comedic actor.
Damon wrote about the late actor that Robin brought a lot of joy into his life and that Damon will also carry that joy with him forever. Matt Damon mentioned about his Good Will Hunting co star, who took away his own life at an age of 63 on August 11. While writing a note about Williams, Damon stated that the late actor was an extremely beautiful man. Matt Damon was indeed fortunate to meet him and know him, and thus he can “never, ever forget” Williams.
Both Affleck and Damon became popular when they co-starred with the comedian in 1997. Both the Hollywood actors rose to fame in the 1997 drama, which they wrote. Robin Williams went on to win the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award. He had emerged victorious for his brilliant performance as Dr. Sean. On the other side, Damon and Affleck scored an Oscar for the Best Original Screenplay.
