Ben Roethlisberger has AC sprain, torn ligaments in throwing shoulder
The hit was one of many dirty plays Burfict has leveled against opponents this season, and finally the National Football League has taken action, announcing that Burfict would be suspended three games.
Part of what played into the punishment were four safety-related fines in 2015, including a $50,000 fine for unnecessarily hitting Baltimore Ravens tight end Maxx Williams in the head in the regular season finale.
Bengals player Pacman Jones told the media he didn’t believe Brown was actually hurt and was faking the injury.
Now why Porter would be on the field to assist Brown is up for debate, as is whether or not Burifict even hit Brown hard enough to concuss him in the first place. The Steelers will update the injury statuses during Tomlin’s press conference on Tuesday and the likelihood that anyone in the NFL’s concussion protocol is cleared this early is pretty slim anyway. Burfict also was fined $69,454 for three penalties against the Steelers on December 13: roughing the passer, grabbing the facemask and unnecessary roughness.
Eighteen seconds later – thanks in no small part to a subsequent Jones personal foul for making contact with an official – the Steelers walked out of Paul Brown stadium with a victory. But there was also more chatter about retaliation for Wallace hit on Bruton that drew a flag for unnecessary roughness.
Cornerback Chris Harris Jr. said a 300-pound lineman with a running start spearing an unsuspecting player with his head down was way worse than what the Giants’ star receiver did to Carolina’s star cornerback.

“I will send out an apology”.
“I can’t tell you anything about what Antonio Brown did in the past, I can only tell you that statement was outrageous”, Kasdan said. “I have to find a better way to get it across”.
