Benzema’s huge hint, Higuain ‘untouchable’, midfielder blow

Napoli president De Laurentiis has shrugged off the suggestions and says it will take a huge fee to convince Napoli to let him go.

It drew a response from the club’s official Twitter site, clearly frustrated with the player’s agent for adding fuel to rumors that the 27-year-old was itching for a move away from Naples.

De Launrentiis also hinted to Napoli fans present in Dimaro that the Argentine forward is staying with the Azzurri after a supporter asked the president if Higuain had renewed his contract.

“Napoli is a dream come true, and I have a great chance to do well with this team”.

Higuain has a £66million buyout clause. Higuain has flourished at San Paolo since arriving from Real Madrid in 2013, scoring 53 goals in all competitions, leading to speculation that the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal want to sign him.

Higuain started his career with River Plate in 1999 and has scored over 190 goals in 407 games at club level, plus he has 25 goals in 52 caps for Argentina.
