Bernie Sanders and ‘SNL’ debut ‘Bern Your Enthusiasm’
So amusing. Larry David and Bernie Sanders proved that they aren’t actually the same person when they appeared together on Saturday Night Live on February 6. Finally, David said he deserved a seat because he was richer than the other passengers. “I am so sick of the 1 percent getting this preferential treatment”.
Sanders has historically responded to David’s impersonations positively saying, “He does it better than I do”. “Enough is enough. We need to unite and work together”, Sanders said after introducing himself as “Bernie Sanderswitzky”. Vulture caught up with SNL co-head writer Rob Klein to find out how Larry David originally landed the gig as the presidential hopeful. “Just pop it back in”, she implores him.
Bernie Sanders has the Millennial voter base excited.

The U.S. senator from Vermont will travel to NY this weekend for the TV appearance, interrupting his campaign in New Hampshire, NYT reported on Friday, citing a senior campaign official.
I don’t know about you, but I’m kind of glad we’ll be seeing them in the same room.
“So, Bernie, how’s things going up in New Hampshire?”
Sanders’ campaign embraced their candidate’s appearance on SNL, to say the least.
Democratic presidential contender Bernie Sanders burst on to the late-night scene at the end of a Titanic-themed bit that opened with a squabble about evacuating women and children first.
As for whether or not appearing on “SNL” can boost your profile, it has helped people like Hillary Clinton in the past, and even Sarah Palin has shown up to poke fun at the version of herself played by Tina Fey on the show.
