Bernie Sanders wins New Hampshire primary, makes Jewish history
Republican candidate Donald Trump and the Democrats’ Bernie Sanders have won in New Hampshire, but it is just start of the race for presidential nominations.
Republican Donald Trump has said he would easily beat Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in a presidential contest for the White House. Trump has led national polls for months, and the New Hampshire victory proves he can win votes and gives credibility to his upstart populist candidacy.
Maria, a supporter of Mr Sanders, turned up to vote with her young daughter. Sure, maybe 30 percent of the GOP base might actually vote for a walking, talking caricature of capitalist excess. But Cruz likely sees it as a necessity.

As a Democrat, how do you reflect on the results from last week and last night? “I think that should be his main platform”. 75% of voters had already made up their minds at least a week ahead of time, and those who decided more recently split about half and half for Sanders and Clinton. “If you campaign against Donald saying, ‘Hey, I’m more liberal than you”. “To be fair, Bernie Sandwiches sounds so much cooler than Bernie Sanders”. But this one is coming from the left.
While stumping for Clinton over the weekend, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright angered some women when she repeated her famous slogan: “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other”. I’m more into amnesty than you.
Insiders in both parties are trying to reassure themselves that, over the course of the campaign, voters will come to their senses and nominate more electable contenders. “If anyone has a problem with that, they can just get over it”.

The runaway victory by Sanders, a self-described democratic socialist advocating nothing less than “political revolution”, spelled a deflating if expected defeat for Hillary Clinton, who put a fearless face on the loss and admitted she had some work to do as the campaign moves south. Many people, including me, have looked at his support as a sign of dissatisfaction among Republican voters with Republican politicians. The governor also appears to have knocked Rubio from the slot of establishment favorite, after his withering criticism of the senator during Saturday night’s Republican debate.
“Right now we are running a positive campaign for Mr. Trump”, campaign manager Corey Lewandowski told CNN. I think he has the skills to really turn things around for our economy and to create jobs and things.
