Analysts expect AT&T to report earnings of 63 cents a share and revenue of $33.04 billion for the second quarter. The 1-year stock price history is in the range of $32.07 – $37.48. They now have a $40.00 price target on the stock, up previously from $35.00. The company lowered its 2015 revenue-growth guidance to 3% from 4%.
Analysts at Sanford C. Bernstein raised their price target on shares of AT&T from $34.00 to $38.00 and gave the company a “market perform” rating in a research note on Thursday, July 2nd. On the last day of trading company shares ended up $13.19. However, ARPU plus AT&T Next billings (a more appropriate metric) have been seeing sequential growth over the last three quarters, and it’s possible that the year-over-year comparisons will also improve in the coming quarters.
The company also recently declared a quarterly dividend, which will be paid on Monday, August 3rd. The ex-dividend date is Wednesday, July 8th. The services and products offered by the Company include wireless communications, local exchange services, long-distance services, data/broadband and Internet services, video services, telecommunications equipment, managed networking, wholesale services and directory advertising and publishing. The company has a market cap of $177,964 million and the number of outstanding shares have been calculated to be 5,193,000,000 shares.
“As these VoIP technologies become the preferred platform for voice services, new solutions – such as (real-time text), are emerging for providing access to these services to people with disabilities”, AT&T added.

AT&T’s Mobile Share plans, which allow customers to share data among several devices, have proved popular with customers and the number of Mobile Share accounts stood at over 55.6 million or about 70% of its total postpaid base as of Q1.
