Best Buy releases Black Friday ad and will open Thanksgiving

Speaking of Target’s offerings this Thanksgiving, Chief Target Stores Officer Tina Tyler said, “Black Friday continues to kick off the holiday shopping season for many guests”.

Best Buy will open at 5 p.m. Thanksgiving this year – the same time as 2014.

The last few days, we’ve shown you some of the deals on mobile devices being offered by retailers like Best Buy, Target and other retailers.

Companies that have already announced plans to open on Thanksgiving include toy seller Toys R Us and department store chains Macy Inc. and Sears Holdings Corp. The retailer has launched a special pre-Black Friday sale that gives customers a hint of what’s to come when the real shopping bonanza rolls around on November 26.

Avid TV watchers thinking about getting Target’s discounted Apple TV should get the unit soon since supplies for such a great deal aren’t expected to last long, according to Tech Times. This year, the company has announced it will pay employees on Black Friday not to work with customers, but to get outside to play. Target and Best Buy have dropped their free-shipping minimums in order to win over more online shoppers; Wal-Mart has said it will stick with its year-round policy of offering free shipping only on orders of $50 or more.

With black Friday round the corner, many retailers are introducing their promotional deals for online and in-store purchases to attract more customers.

According to CNN Money, in 2014 more people were shopping online instead of going to the store.

REI is the outlier – It’s not only closed on Thanksgiving Day, but also closed on Black Friday for the first time.

GameStop will open at 12:01 a.m. on Black Friday.

Target isn’t the only one gearing up for a bumper holiday season, with Walmart starting its holiday sales the day after Halloween. This year, J.C. Penney will open at 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, two hours earlier than last year.

Headphones, Microwaves, smart phones, clothes, tablets, shoes, slippers, beauty products, furniture, kitchen and electronics appliances, web hosting, domain names, and many other products that you can imagine will be on sale on Black Friday Weekend, but the maximum discounts will be provided only on 27 November, 2015.
