Best Smartphone At MWC 2017
The recognition given the Galaxy S7 Edge is a recognition of Samsung’s craftsmanship in design and innovation.
What the pictures do seem to confirm is that Samsung is another company scrapping the physical home button in favour of more real estate for the screen itself.
The router will require placement in the user’s window, alongside one of the 5G radios also announced at the show today.
Nothing is official until Samsung says it is, but the Galaxy S8 is looking to be a big redesign for the company. News also disclosed that the release of the said device will still push through even after the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco. The processors are said to differ according to the markets the smartphones are launched in. Proof of it is that the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge was recognized at the MWC 2017 annual Global Mobile Awards as the Best Smartphone of 2016.
Unlike the low-quality leaks we’ve seen over the past few weeks, the newest image looks like a render straight from Samsung.
Samsung has been teasing their new device for some days now with symbolic graphics of a device with very minimal bezels before the launch date of March 29. The Galaxy S8 is speculated to come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, while the Galaxy S8+ variant is likely to include 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The Android Nougat was in mid-2017 and many manufacturers are still struggling to update many of their devices with the OS.
This could mean being more conservative in the S8 features, though it also needs some breakout features to restore excitement in the brand.
