Bethesda Officially Announces RAGE 2 With A Killer Trailer
Bethesda has released an official announcement trailer for the raucous and punk rock-infused Rage 2. As Rage 2 is still now “unannounced”, there is no information of when to expect the title, or who’s behind development.
Between a re-activated Rage account on Twitter and Bethesda’s own account, we began to see the game teased via a series of images. Well, things have been made official as the game’s official trailer has been released by Bethesda.
The fun doesn’t end with just the reveal trailer, but a worldwide reveal gameplay trailer will drop tomorrow as well.
Bethesda working with Avalanche on this project makes a great deal of sense.
After weeks of speculation, rumors, and teasing Bethesda has now officially confirmed Rage 2. Still, we can expect to hear plenty more about Rage 2 during E3, so look forward to that and be sure to stayed tuned for the gameplay trailer that’s arriving tomorrow.
Unfortunately, the trailer provided nothing in terms of information or footage of the game, and that’s because today was basically just the warm-up. It already appeared on YouTube earlier before being pulled, but the clip was saved in GIF form by Twitter user Wario64.
Back in 2010 the original Rage was released by id Software.
Despite not getting rave reviews, it seems that Rage sales may have been decent enough to leave room for a sequel. RAGE 2 brings together a true open world FPS experience where you can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything. We do know that the bladed boomerang will return. Looks like that’s sticking around, too – the trailer begins with a first-person view of climbing into a jury-rigged vehicle and some painted-up wheels spinning. Especially if it does have a more open world.
