Beyoncé, Adele lead MTV Video Music Awards nominations
Beyoncé has already won the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, as far as we’re concerned. The complete list for nominees can be found at vma.mtv.com as well. West’s “Famous”, Beyonce’s “Formation” and Adele’s “Hello” will battle Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” and Drake’s “Hotline Bling” for the top prize at the MTV Video Music Awards, Aug. 28, 2016, from New York’s Madison Square Garden.
The songstresses will compete for best female video along with Rihanna, Sia and Ariana Grande. Best new artist voting will remain live through the VMA pre-show, airing at 8 p.m. ET, with the top two artists revealed during the pre-show, kicking off a live hashtag vote before the victor is announced during the awards show.
