Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj Performance at Tidal Charity Concert
Jay Z, Usher and Nicki Minaj were among the major music stars performing at a charity concert in Brooklyn – but it was Beyonce’s jaw-dropping dress that stole the show. Proceeds from the event will go to the Tidal X FUND at the New World Foundation to help raise awareness and funding for positive social impact worldwide.
They served as headliners for the night and delighted fans by teaming up onstage at the Barclays Center for a rendition of Feeling Myself, complete with a dance off with Beyonce and Nicki each leading their crews.
The ladies were among the long list of artists on the bill for the Tidal X: 1020 charity gig in Brooklyn, New York, which was put together to celebrate the online streaming service surpassing the one million subscriber mark.
Beyonce was attending an event at the Barclays Centre for her husband Jay Z’s music service Tidal. She was subject to surrogacy rumours while pregnant with Blue Ivy – and now Beyonce has been hit with another conspiracy. But the service has struggled against competitors like Spotify and Pandora, which offer free subscriptions.
Other artists who performed at the concert included rappers T.I., Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and Meek Mill, reggae performer Damian Marley, country singer Thomas Rhett, French band Indochine, and singers Nick Jonas, Alessia Cara and Justine Skye. (Prince was previously announced as a performer, but has since been removed.)
