Beyonce releases new song day before Super Bowl appearance
Celebrities are just like us when they first hear Beyoncé’s new song Formation.
It was apparently filmed at least partially in New Orleans, Louisiana, and opens with a shot of the singer on a city police cruiser stuck in flood waters. The video features daughter Blue Ivy, exhibiting considerable stage-presence, as well as the visual of a police auto drowning (the graffiti-ed message “STOP SHOOTING US” appears on a wall during the clip, as well).
SRSLY – one listen and we’re already hooked.
It is believed Beyonce, 34, will perform Formation as part of the 2016 Super Bowl Halftime Show tomorrow.

The Daily Beast reports that the video is nothing short of Beyonce’s own way of political activism-which has her sing, dance and make her point loud and clear. “She wants to surround herself with business people who could take her career to an even higher level”, a source close to Beyonce said to Page Six.
But the politics aside, the “Formation” video is jam packed with enough classic Beyonce moments to keep the fans happy. As always with a new missive from Beyoncé, it’s everything.
While rumors had spread in recent days of a surprise release by Beyonce, it is unclear when or whether she plans a full album.
