The colourful performance then turned to Bruno Mars, the 2014 half-time headliner, who gave a lively rendition of his hit Uptown Funk with DJ Mark Ronson.
Beyonce was the star of the Super Bowl last night, and boy, was everyone talking about that electric performance.
The 34-year-old singer splashed out the huge amount on Airbnb for the 12-acre estate in Los Altos Hills, California, ahead of her performance at the halftime show at Levi Stadium with Coldplay and Bruno Mars on Sunday (02.07.16).
It sure looked like there was an ammo belt over Beyonce‘s shoulders in the form of an “X” – as well as bullets ready to be retrieved from her sleeves.
She deleted the tweet when she realised and posted this.
The day before the Super Bowl, Beyoncé dropped her newest single, “Formation”, a track that the sees her reaching previously unfathomable levels of ferocity.
Beyoncé Formation video & #SB50 act was anti-police, shameful.
The singer is bringing her Formation World Tour to Ireland on July 9 with tickets going on sale on February 15.
“Rise above and stay above the strife”.
The tour is Beyonce’s first around the world since her Mrs Carter Show World Tour in 2013.
Touring and politics aside, let’s not forget the fantastic dance routine.

The Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers left the field before it was turned into a Glastonbury-inspired set, complete with flowers and flags as the band performed their single Paradise accompanied by a youth marching band and colourful umbrellas.
And even the kids were there…… Chris Martin from Coldplay entered the field singing Viva la Vida with a youthful marching band.
Beyonce also used the Super Bowl to dispel the rumours she might be expecting her second child with husband Jay Z, wearing a skintight leather leotard for the event to showcase her slim frame with no hint of a baby bump.
