Biden reveals moment he told family it was a no-go
Clinton, Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley remain in the race.
Sanders then tried to clarify that his remark about Clinton’s raised tone of voice was meant to be taken more broadly.
Carson said Vice President Joe Biden has the best chance, though, the interview took place before Biden announced that he would not seek the nomination. “I have stated from the start in that I do not know whether or not our potential to deal with the lack of Boyfriend would reach a few extent where we might do this before time ran out”, he said.
“I am running as a proud Democrat”, Clinton proclaimed, a subtle knock against Sanders’ independent status.
But she trained most of her criticism on Republicans, and particularly their leading candidate, celebrity billionaire Donald Trump.
Her poll numbers took a hit over the summer, as she struggled with a controversy over her use of a private email account and server, rather than a government one, while she was secretary of state.
“By his side every step of the way has been Vice President Joe Biden”, Clinton said. “He has fought passionately for middle-class families and middle class values”. “America is great – we just have to make it fair and just”.
In that encounter, Clinton offered a full-throated rebuke of Sanders’ record on gun control, noting his opposition to the 1993 Brady Bill and his backing of a 2005 law that shields gun manufacturers, distributors and dealers from most liability lawsuits. “Well, I haven’t been shouting, but sometimes when a woman speaks, a few people think it is shouting”.
On the whole, however, Sanders was the far more aggressive candidate on Saturday night.
The former president joked he was nothing more than a warmup act for Perry at the pre-dinner concert staged by Clinton’s campaign. It was a harbinger of what was ahead for Clinton: She came in third at the Iowa caucuses, and her campaign never really recovered.
“It gives me no joy to tell you that much of what I predicted about Iraq turned out to be right”, Sanders said. “That was a tough vote. That’s not the case”, Sanders said, half an hour or so before Clinton was due to give her own speech. “It was not a complicated issue”, Sanders said.
Hillary Rodham Clinton cast herself as the heir to President Barack Obama’s agenda and the antidote to Republicans before thousands of Iowa Democrats at a high-stakes party fundraiser.
“I did not support it yesterday. Hillary & I get alongside collectively”, he said.
On Saturday October 24, the California gurl showed her blue pride once again, this time rallying and performing in Des Moines, Iowa for Hillary Clinton, who is now campaigning out on the road across the states. “That it is what it is about”, he told CNN.
