Biden: Sanders To Finally Endorse Clinton
The Democratic National Convention opens in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on July 25.
“Our first month of general election fundraising proved to be the best of the campaign”, campaign manager Robby Mook said.
But Biden now says that Democrats have nothing to worry about from Sanders.
“That’s just outrageous. So I’m going to do everything that I can to see that Donald Trump is defeated”, he said. “The Democrats were coalescing even before this happens”. “He hates her. Bernie Sanders can not stand Hillary Clinton”.
Asked about his refusal to endorse Clinton in the weeks since he suspended his campaign, Sanders was blunt.
It appears that the final dregs of the Bernie Sanders campaign are still hanging on tightly to their principals as Sanders corrected the record this week about whether or not he plans to endorse Secretary Hillary Clinton for the presidency. Bernie Sanders who remains technically in the race. “I want North Atlantic Treaty Organisation to be involved”, Trump said.
It is the right time for Sanders to put his mouth where he promises to put his vote and make sure his supporters vote for Clinton. He didn’t deny that he would endorse Clinton but also declined to confirm Biden’s comments.
“Because I haven’t heard her say the things that I think need to be said”, told “CBS This Morning”. “I hope that we can reach that goal. As of this moment, we’re not there quite yet”.
Sanders – who has so far withheld his endorsement from Clinton – detailed the state of play between the campaigns as they work on reconciling after a fierce primary fight. “He may have already crossed it”.
The freshman senator, a rising star in the party, is a fierce critic of Donald Trump, but a new Rasmussen Reports poll released Friday shows Clinton’s chances wouldn’t improve much with the Harvard Law professor on the ticket.
