Bieber to appear at inaugural Billboard Hot 100 fest
The headliners for the show were recently announced and will include Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, the Weeknd, Skrillex and Justin Bieber.
The festival’s superstar (and lesser) lineup has enough genres to please everyone and touches down at New York’s Jones Beach Theater, and its surrounding beach, on August 22 and 23.
Billboard just unveiled the full list of artists set to perform at its first ever Hot 100 Music Festival, and if your dream lineup extends exclusively to acts that have broken into Billboard’s Hot 100 chart over the past year or so, you should start crafting a “thank you” tweet to Billboard now.
Billboard have always been successful in their recording sales through their many charts, and today they’ve made a decision to expand their brand with the announcement of the first Hot 100 music festival. The festival will also feature performances by Jason Derulo, ILoveMakonnen, Kygo, Santigold, Fetty Wap, The Chainsmokers and many more top acts.
Billboard is stepping into the festival market. Fans will see some of their favorite artists at one of the festival’s three stages, including the famed amphitheater Nikon at Jones Beach Theater, as well as two additional stages with one located on the beach. All tickets will go on sale July 16 at 10 a.m. on Live Nation.
