Big Bang co-stars Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki deny romance
Johnny, meanwhile, shared a picture of him and Kaley making serious faces.
Cuoco took to Instagram Wednesday to put a stop to rumors that she and “Big Bang Theory” co-star Galecki are getting back together again after her split from husband Ryan Sweeting.
Cuoco went on to say that the only romance between the two stars will be on TV, as their characters on “The Big Bang Theory”, Leonard and Penny, got married in the Season 9 premiere last month.
The 29-year-old star addressed the speculation on Instagram by sharing a photograph of her and Johnny smiling widely and fist bumping, with the caption: “So sorry to disappoint, but no home wreckers or secret flings going on here”.
Galecki, 40, chimed in with a similar photo and message, saying, “No scandals / home wreckers / pregnancies here, y’all”. A source claimed Kaley “begged Johnny to give her another chance”. The two secretly dated for about two years before calling it quits in 2009. Everyone was always asking, and we deny-deny-denied.
On September 25, Cuoco’s reps told E!
She said, “We dated, like, five years ago so I think we’ve both moved on…”
Since then they’ve remained on good terms, as Johnny explained to CBS Watch! magazine in 2013 – telling them: ‘We’re dear friends, still. “It didn’t come out of left field or a shock to anyone close to them…it was a long time coming. It’s a situation that ended well, I understand sometimes it doesn’t”. ET reported on how when rumors of their difficulties started the couple never personally acknowledged that they were growing apart.
“We couldn’t do anything”, Cuoco said in 2010.
Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki would make such a cute couple if they ever got back together. The “Big Bang Theory” actress insisted that there was no awkwardness between her husband and her former beau. The actor and his girlfriend of over 2 years, actress Kelli Garner split in August, just one month before Sweeting and Cuoco.
