Bill and Hillary Clinton to become grandparents, again

‘Next summer, Charlotte is going to be a big sister!’ she wrote.

The 35-year-old shared her happy news in a tweet on Monday afternoon, posting a sweet snap of 15-month-old daughter Charlotte along with her announcement.

Chelsea elaborated on Facebook about the experience of first-time motherhood and looking ahead to welcoming her second.

Shortly thereafter, Hillary Clinton responded with her own tweet. “We’re so excited to meet our second grandchild!”

Clinton often mentions her granddaughter in campaign speeches about the need to address the nation’s challenges for future generations, and the birth of her second grand child would coincide with the two party’s nominating conventions.

Chelsea Clinton is married to hedge fund manager Marc Mezvinsky, the son of former US congressman Edward Mezvinsky and former USA congresswoman Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky.

She joked that she and her husband thought that life was mundane before parenthood.
