Bill Clinton going to USC Upstate for GOTV rally Thursday

Speaking to a crowd of Hillary Clinton supporters at the Hippodrome Theater Wednesday, Clinton took a moment to reflect on the lives lost in Central Virginia earlier in the afternoon.

Clinton called his wife the single best change maker he has ever known. “Hillary Clinton has spent her entire life taking on the toughest fights on behalf of families and children-starting here in SC while working at the Children’s Defense Fund”.

“But let’s make sure that we do everything we can in Virginia”, Beyer said to the crowd.

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – Former President Bill Clinton is scheduled to stop in Aiken to join the “Got Out the Vote” rallies across SC. He argued that a President Hillary Clinton would pursue clean energy, tighten Dodd-Frank, tweak rules surrounding college loans, nominate liberal justices to the Supreme Court, and improve the economy.

“[Trump] says he wants to make America great again”.

“Hillary is running for President to put every American in the picture of the future”, he said. He said Hillary Clinton would seek to reduce student debt and address the heroin epidemic and abuse of opioids.

In ZIP codes that begin with 080, which includes towns in Burlington County, Clinton has raised $142,365 Democratic rival Bernie Sanders has raised $49,399.

After the events in the Upstate, Clinton will continue to travel throughout the Palmetto State.

On Super Tuesday, a total of 12 states are having presidential primaries or caucuses.
