Bill Clinton rallies the Pee Dee to Hillary campaign
Bill Clinton hit up Cincinnati on Friday to rally the faithful in support of wife Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid.
Her husband’s comments come just as Hillary Clinton has embraced Mr. Obama’s legacy while on the campaign trail, positioning her candidacy as a continuation of several of the president’s platforms.
The nation’s economy is recovering, he said, but he expressed sympathy for those who aren’t happy with the direction of the country.
“I think the whole thing of protecting our rights in terms of the Supreme Court is really important and I think she’s the candidate who is for that”, Laurmer said.
“This is 2016, we do not have time to wait for you to get affordable healthcare to lock in the gains of the healthcare law and to move on to other business so that we can grow this economy”, Clinton explained. “Hillary’s the best change-maker I ever saw, and her instincts are always “what can I do to make it better” not ‘who can I blame for what is'”.
“The crisis was brought about because the system was rigged”, Bill Clinton said Thursday in Memphis. Tennessee is one of a dozen states holding their primaries or caucuses on Super Tuesday, March 1.
“I’ve got nothing against Bernie Sanders”, Mallory said.
The former president said reaching those goals “requires a president who knows how to stand her ground and how to seek common ground”.
OH begins early voting next week for its March 15 primary. “She’s running to give every young person, every middle-aged person who lost a job and face with a dead-end and every child with that regard income, race or region chance to claim the American dream”.
“Her campaign recognizes the importance of the black vote, the Latino vote, and the women’s vote”, Vergie Banks, Shelby County Democratic Women president, said.
It’s the second visit to Tennessee by the Hillary Clinton campaign in recent months.
But at least a few members of the Millennial Generation in the crowd were there specifically to be in the room with a former president, although they could both end up voting for a Republican instead.
Clinton spent 25 minutes after his speech shaking hands with those at the Whitehaven rally and posing for selfies before sprinting to a waiting vehicle outside the gym.
