Bill Goldberg Signed On For More WWE Matches?
WWE WrestleMania 33 was supposed to be the last time Goldberg stepped into the ring for a fight.
On top of that, there is an NXT Takeover the night before, which, believe it or not, enhances the entire weekend.
A year later he would win his first WWE Championship at Survivor Series 1991 against Hulk Hogan. While Goldberg had said that was his last match, he then stated that he wanted one more World Title run and would start in the Royal Rumble. After Survivor Series, we learned that Goldberg will be sticking around until at least the Royal Rumble. Bill Goldberg is now 2-0 against Lesnar, and fans are already speculating that this could be a build-up for a great Wrestlemania feud between the two. Especially when he said Goldberg was going to be so unrecognizable his son would be calling Brock Lesnar daddy. If this is Goldberg’s final match, which he indicated when returned to Raw a couple of weeks ago I don’t see a reason for him to beat Lesnar.
Tonight’s match took everyone by surprise. Fans could get a glimpse of what a decent match could look like between the two. While WWE did just use Hell in a Cell for WrestleMania 32, the steel structure may be a fit for this possible third bout.
That should have been common sense though fans aren’t going to “boo” the hometown hero.
Despite the traitorous move from Ambrose, his and Styles’ “Team SmackDown” was triumphant over “Raw’s” red guys. The wrestler claimed that he signed a deal for one more bought. Thus, it is likely that in their rematch, the latter is getting his hand raised.
The Elimination Chamber was first used in 2002, while Bret Hart had his first PPV matches with both Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin at different Survivor Series.
Who won the big match? I didn’t expect the match to be a grueling 20 minute match but for the buildup I would’ve expected more than three minutes. “Brock gets his receipt and finally gets the monkey off his back”.
“I miss @WWE terribly”, he wrote on Twitter.
I’m kind of shocked!
