Bill Murray has a golf clothing line called William Murray Golf
The actor who famously played greenskeeper Carl in “Caddyshack” has launched a golf clothing line called William Murray Golf, Golf Digest reports.
MEDINAH, IL – SEPTEMBER 25: Hollywood star Bill Murray clowns around with the gallery during the 2012 Ryder Cup Captains & Celebrity Scramble at Medinah Country Golf Club on September 25, 2012 in Medinah, Illinois.
The team will sell pinstriped polos for around $75 and baseball caps for around $32 at WilliamMurrayGolf.com and TheChivery.com.
One such example of this irreverence is a golf shirt with an all-over cocktail print.
Legendary funnyman Bill Murray turns 66 years old today.
The Chive says, “The William Murray Golf line is whimsical, but not as over-the-top as one might expect”. Other items that have been teased include a golf shirt that bears a striking resemblance to the home uniforms of a certain Chicago-based National League baseball team now dominating the MLB, a checked button-down shirt, and a Flex Fit cap with the William Murray Golf logo (a golfer chucking his no doubt non-compliant iron) on it. The full range won’t be available until October 20, though select pieces ($32-$75) are already available online. “Caddying also helped us learn we had no interest in either”.
“We’re going to create a whole new level of excitement to the game”, said John Resig, president of Resignation Media.
