Bill Nye The Science Guy Reads Mean Tweets About Himself

Bill Nye the Science Guy showed that he’s not scared of the haters on Twitter and posts a amusing video of himself reading mean tweets he’s received.

“I F***ING HATE BILL NYE THE A**HOLE GUY!!” one mad tweeter all-capped.

Some of his detractors had beef with his global warming activism.

Nye stood his ground against the climate change and evolution deniers, though.

Highlights include Nye fumbling over the pronunciation of “TFIOS” (a.k.a.The Fault In Our Stars), getting mildly excited about paint drying, and being disturbed by the misuse of a certain naughty word. Forget science. Soon we’re gonna have to call him Bill Nye the Internet Guy. To help further the cause of making a film about himself, Nye opened up his Twitter feed and read the harshest tweets he could find-and there were some incredibly mean ones in the mix.

In the meantime, Nye is also the subject of a Kickstarter campaign (which has already reached more than half of its $650,000 goal) launched by filmmakers who want to make a documentary about his lifelong quest to popularize science.
