Bill Paxton Has Died Due to Complications From Surgery
On Sunday, his family issued a statement to notify about his death.

From 2006 to 2011, he played Bill Henrickson, the patriarch of a polygamist family in Utah, on the HBO series Big Love.
Storm chasers across Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas memorialized Bill Paxton by logging their locations on a Global Positioning System map to form the Twister actor’s initials, “BP”. Training Day was not expected to be renewed and Paxton’s untimely passing makes a second season now increasingly unlikely.
He leaves behind two children and his wife of 30 years, Louise Newbury.
As reported by Gizmodo, hundreds of storm chasers in the midwest gathered together and used Global Positioning System pings to make a tribute for Paxton. The effort was to honor the leading man in the disaster movie “Twister”, which inspired a generation of storm chasers.
In the course of his career, Paxton faced three of science fiction’s most famous villains. That role would catapult him to a much higher profile, one that he would parlay into a major role in Kathryn Bigelow’s vampire classic Near Dark.
