Bills coach Ryan expects QB Taylor to play at Kansas City
The Patriots took the lead for good roughly midway through the third quarter when White dashed in from six yards out to make it 17-10 New England. On his weekly radio show on Bills flagship station WGR Sportsradio 550, head coach Rex Ryan said Taylor should be fit to play Sunday in Kansas City. As for Moore, I continue to wonder why he’s even on the team because he’s basically been a waste since the day he arrived. “I think some of the things that we didn’t do well had nothing to do with missing some of the guys”. We’ve got to find ways to get off the field, and they capitalized. So the Jaguars shouldn’t have won a game they won.
“He likes me, I know that”, Ryan smiled. Then when Sammy Watkins crawled out of bounds untouched near midfield on the final play of the game, the official signaled for the clock to run. In the fourth quarter, the Patriots had only two healthy receivers – Brandon Lafell and newly signed Chris Harper. So you get pretty limited quickly in the things that you can do.
It doesn’t matter how many players go down for the Patriots. Instead, what we are seeing is a team that is determined to make the most of the hand they’ve been dealt; namely in lieu of injuries that are decimating the most talented players on their starting roster. And that’s what championship teams do. “Against that team, you don’t get that many opportunities”.

NOTES: Game time temperature was 29 degrees with a wind chill of 21…. Amendola was Brady’s only reliable target all night long until he went down with a knee injury late in the third quarter. New England’s Jonathan Freeny picked up the ball and ran 5 yards before he lost the ball and it bounced out of bounds.
Buffalo erased tight end Rob Gronkowski – two catches for 37 yards – and those aren’t new trends.
Even the referees were sloppy.
Early in the third quarter, Brady rolled toward the right sideline before throwing downfield to Amendola.
The play was eventually blown dead as embarrassed officials blamed an “inadvertent whistle”.
After a lengthy discussion, the referee announced there was an inadvertent whistle. Jonathan Freeny recovered for New England and the Patriots turned that into a 35-yard Gostkowski field goal for a 20-10 lead with 47 seconds remaining in the third quarter.
James White scored two touchdowns, including just before half-time as the Patriots took a 10-3 lead.
Tom Brady went 20 of 39 for 377 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the game. “We definitely could work on a lot, but a win is a win, and you got to give credit to our defense”.
And another streak was snapped, too. Stephen Gostkowski then missed his first field goal attempt of the season, a 54-yarder. It was his first miss since November 30, 2014, and his first miss at home since Week 2 of the 2013 season. Danny Amendola and Aaron Dobson left with injuries against Buffalo.
