The Leesburg Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the whereabouts of Willard (Bill) Hurley.
That was nine days ago, he said.
After leaving his residence in Leesburg, Mr. Hurley utilized a credit card for gas in Woodstock, Virginia. It’s complete speculation as to why he left.
According to Hurley, who declined to take any further questions about the incident, his father left his family’s house in nearby Leesburg, Va., with some clothes and money and hasn’t been heard from since. The truck has a camper shell on the back, police said.
“Right now, we have no reason to believe that there’s any suspicious circumstances surrounding his disappearance”, Dube said. He purchased a hotel room for one night in Texarkana, Texas, on July 23.
He said he only found out Monday that his father had disappeared. He’s playing this week in hopes his father will see him on TV and come home, he said.
“This was a hard decision for my family to make to even make this public”, Hurley III said Tuesday.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Leesburg Police Department at at 703-771-4500.
