Billy Hurley III says his father has been missing for 9 days
Willard Hurley, Jr., was last seen on July 19, says his son and PGA Tour golfer Billy Hurley III.
Golf star Billy Hurley issued an emotional plea Tuesday, asking anyone who’s seen or heard from his Leesburg-resident father to help find him. Billy Hurley III said that a police report has been filed in Leesburg with his father apparently taking money and clothing with him when he vanished. “It’s complete speculation to try to put a finger on that”.
He’s been married to my mom for 30-plus years.
“I’m just hoping that there’s a story that maybe he goes to pgatour.com to check my tee time or check my score and sees this and understands that dad, we love you and we want you to come home”, Hurley said, via USA Today.

Hurley, 33, was born in Leesburg, Virginia and resides in Annapolis, Maryland, making this week’s event in Gainesville, Virginia a homecoming.
The Leesburg, Va. native and Navy graduate made the announcement ahead of Quicken Loans National, a tournament which begins at Robert Trent Jones Golf Golf Club on Thursday, in hopes the added exposure will lead to his father being located.
“I’m just hopeful”, Hurley said. He works at Reston Bible Church and there was no reason to think he’d leave home. He said he does plan to play in the tournament later this week, which is being played close to his hometown. “It’s really special for me”.
