Billy Joel Welcomes Second Daughter, Della Rose

Multiple outlets have confirmed that the iconic singer and his wife, Alexis Joel, welcomed a daughter into the world at 2:40 a.m.in New York on Wednesday.

The “Piano Man” singer told Newsday in June he didn’t expect the new child to slow down his touring.

According to sources, the couple welcome a healthy baby girl named Della Rose Joel.

The couple, who started dating in 2009, “surprised guests at their annual July 4th party by exchanging vows in front of their family and close friends” last month.

Della Rose is Joel’s second daughter.

“I’m probably going to be able to spend more time with this kid than most people are able to spend with their children”, Joel said, “because I don’t have a regular job”.

Following Billy and Alexis’ clandestine nuptials, Brinkley congratulated the couple on Instagram, writing, “Congratulations to the glowing bride and groom”. He is set to play Philadelphia on Thursday and then return to Madison Square Garden next Thursday for his monthly residency there.
