Apparently Derek’s mask was so terrifying that it scared Bindi Irwin right into the arms of another man – or maybe her new partner is a woman? The blonde-haired performer previously divulged during an interview with Entertainment Tonight that he’s been keeping a close watch on Bindi’s boyfriend when he comes to visit the 17-year-old animal activist from down under.

Dedicated: Wearing her brunette tresses loose around her shoulders, Bindi shunned make-up for the tough session with her partner Derek Hough. Derek stated, “Once I had her up there, that was it. It was just about staying up there”. The song is from The Lost Boys movie soundtrack, so Bindi and Derek might channel motorcycle-riding vampires for their performance.

“That support is what means the most”, she gushed to E!

Chandler from Florida was by her side when Bindi was perfecting her dance moves with partner Derek Hough.

This week, however, will be made specially spooky and thrilling with the remaining couples teaming up for Freestyle Team Dances.

The pro dancers taking part will include Lindsay Arnold, Alan Bersten, Sharna Burgess, Brittany Cherry, Artem Chigvintsev, Val Chmerkovskiy, Jenna Johnson, Keo Motsepe, Peta Murgatroyd and Emma Slater.

“You know, I’ve got four sisters, now I’ve got five sisters here …”

The pair have achieved near ideal scores throughout the competition, with their standout Dirty Dancing-inspired routine receiving top points. However, Derek revealed that Bindi Irwin suffered a wardrobe malfunction that could have ruined the look of the dance. They were literally threading it while the dancers were heading to the stage. You don’t really get a chance to rehearse with the costumes, so we weren’t really prepared for that.

And as Bindi Irwin prepares for this week’s Halloween-themed Dancing With The Stars, the teenager seemed eager to get into the party spirit.
