Bindi Irwin Gushes About ‘Special’ Guy in Her Life

Bindi Iriwin, the 17-year-old daughter of the late Steve Irwin, has revealed she has a boyfriend. “I realize that Dad would have wanted me to be happy, to carry love in my heart, and to love every single day”.

The conservationist is now old enough to drive a vehicle and, as many noted during the week, is old enough to have a boyfriend. Bindi generated headlines this week when she revealed she’s started dating, confirming to Entertainment Tonight in that she was in a relationship. She went on to add that her life is wonderful at the moment.

Bindi also wants a guy who loves wildlife, is passionate about improving the world and loves the outdoors.

The Australian teen didn’t reveal any name of who the special person might be, but ET notes she’s been spotted hanging out with professional wakeboarder Chandler Powell.

While Irwin would not say definitely who her potential love interest was, she did disclose a few of her more general thoughts on suitors. He’s so much like dad sometimes it’s a bit scary. You need to accept yourself.”By all accounts, she seems to have that radiant joy that her dad was known for:And now she has someone new to share that with”.

She said, “He always used to say that he didn’t mind if people remembered him or not”.

Irwin, who turns 17 later this week and lost her father in 2006, said her dad “always said, ‘You can’t date ’till you’re 40, and he has to be able to swim across our largest crocodile pond before he can go out with you.'”.

‘Blessed to have you in my life, you are truly one of my best friends ever, ‘ Bindi replied.
