With a two-hour special, viewers will be thrilled to finally see who’s got the potential to win the mirrorball trophy this fall season.
Despite the handful of less-than stellar performances, there were plenty of talent to celebrate in the season premiere of DWTS.
When women in sequined, teensy-tiny costumes and men in sparkly shirts and ties dance in the streets of Hollywood with a baker’s dozen of celebrities and hundreds of fans, it can only mean one thing – Season 21 of “Dancing With the Stars” is starting!
If “Dancing” history is anything to judge by, Mr. Espinoza is a contestant to watch, though he had one of the lower scores last night with 15.
GARY BUSEY AND ANNA TREBUNSKAYA danced the cha cha and also dropped some of his scatterbrained philosophy on the crowd. She was definitely entertaining but there were some sloppy elements of her performance with Mark Ballas.
CHAKA KHAN AND KEO MOTSEPE danced the cha cha and unfortunately she forgot a few of the steps. She was paired with fan favourite, Derek Hough, who managed to keep his partner firmly grounded on the dance floor.
ET’s Samantha Harris caught up with the chef and her pro-partner Louis Van Amstel at their Team Buttercup rehearsals, and we were surprised to learn that Deen has yet to whip up one of her favorite recipes for her leading man. Although… her dancing skills aren’t exactly on point just yet.
Paula Deen lost 40 pounds before agreeing to dance.
The 17 year-old paid tribute to her late father Steve Irwin with an energetic Jive set to Crocodile Rock. The 17-year-old is already making a huge noise for joining the show.
We want to dance with Derek Hough.
Be sure to come back every week for more Sharna and Nick inside info! Don’t miss tonight’s show.
So what will happen in Episode 1 of DWTS Season 21? However, while performing their cha-cha – which included a BSB move – Nick combined technique with stage presence to win over the judges. For some pairs however, the onstage steam is something to squeal over. Instead, Andy will perform to “Marvin Gaye” by Charlie Puth, and Nick will dance to “I Don’t Like It, I Love It” by Flo Rida.
Dancing with the Stars’ 21st season kicked off Monday night with 13 new celebrity hopefuls, their pro partners and judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Julianne Hough.
