Birdman denies involvement in co-conspiracy to kill Lil Wayne
Birdman has kept quiet through out the countless of headlines circulating the Internet regarding tension between him and Lil Wayne. I love my son.
For what it’s worth, Birdman still considers Lil Wayne to be a “son”. “I think that what’s going on is just some business”, he said. The Cash Money honcho said Wayne’s screed against him and the label “was shocking to everybody”. “You never thought Wayne would be saying nothing negative about me in no lifetime”. “I never thought that could ever happen – for that man to open his mouth and say something negative about me”.
In his interview with Martinez, Birdman addressed the rumors that should Wayne leave, Cash Money would also lose the Young Money roster: “No”, Birdman said.
“You understand me? That was a lot”. So [when he said] something negative about me that affected my life.
Birdman and Lil Wayne may not be on the best terms right now – or even on good terms – but the rapper’s mentor says he still cares about his frenemy.
