Birmingham’s Veterans Day Parade begins at 1:30 pm

Member states of the Commonwealth of Nations adopted Remembrance Day, while the USA chose Veterans Day.

Morehead State University values and honors all the men and women who have served in our Armed Forces. They were decked out in their red, white, and blue clothing and waved American flags in honor of those who have served and continue to serve our country.

In fact, Veterans Day is largely meant to thank living veterans for their service, to acknowledge that their contributions to our national security are appreciated, and to underscore the fact that all those who served – not only those who died – have sacrificed and done their duty.
