Birthday boy: Patriots celebrate Brady turning 39

He’s oldest player on the Patriots by almost seven years, and he’s 16 years, 11 months and 22 days older than the youngest player on the roster, rookie cornerback Cre’von LeBlanc.

Pre-deflategate, in 2013, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen bought a sprawling apartment at glassy Flatiron tower One Madison. So how old/young will he be before Brady calls it quits?

It only makes sense that Goodell will extend kindness to Brady on the one day of the year where it is socially acceptable to pat your enemies on the back.

Gisele is known for her long, blonde waves, and it looks like her daughter Vivian Lake Brady inherited them.

The deeper question is whether Brady will play beyond the point at which Father Time begins to establish his eventually insurmountable year.

Fun fact: Brady’s newest backup, Jacoby Brissett, was was eight years old when Brady won his first Super Bowl.

Brady has said in the past that he didn’t start taking nutrition seriously until late in his career, so if Garoppolo is following Brady’s lead, he could have a head start on preserving his body.

Bundchen noted that she couldn’t be with Brady to celebrate, but wanted to wish him happiness over the next year and share how much she and their kids love him. The hard work continues on Wednesday.
