Black bear takes a dip in a hot tub

A video has emerged of a black bear having a relaxing afternoon in a hot tub in Vancouver, Canada.

Homeowners Denise and Tony Diering returned home to find the bear in their pool, before the furry visitor decided to try out the adjoining jacuzzi.

It’s not just people who enjoy a dip in the hot tub to relax, especially after un-bearable day.

While Diering said the animals are “amazing” to see up close, he is concerned about the safety of nearby residents and the property damage caused by bear break-ins.

Diering told the network a bear, possibly the same one, was spotted in the yard eating birdseed about a month ago.

He and his wife aren’t positive it’s the same animal but they removed the seed in hopes it would deter another encounter. The couple saw the bear wandering into their backyard, and immediately locked themselves in the house, watching from inside. Unfortunately for this North Vancouver couple, that option wasn’t available to them recently … because a bear had already beat them to the water. “It’s just wonderful”, Tony Diering told CTV after spotting the bear in his swimming pool.
