Black Friday Deals 2015: Best Buy Offers ‘Doorbuster’ Deals, Some Stores

About half of millennials say they’ll be using their phone to shop this holiday season, and retailers are figuring out how to take advantage of that.

According to CNBC, Toys R Us will open at 5 p.m. Thanksgiving; Sears, Macy’s and Belk have opted for 6 p.m. Wal-Mart hasn’t announced its plans yet.

Headphones, Microwaves, smart phones, clothes, tablets, shoes, slippers, beauty products, furniture, kitchen and electronics appliances, web hosting, domain names, and many other products that you can imagine will be on sale on Black Friday Weekend, but the maximum discounts will be provided only on 27 November, 2015. To unlock holiday deals on Thanksgiving Day, shoppers will have to crowdsource votes. In addition to their Thanksgiving store opening announcements, many retailers are also publicizing the Black Friday deals that are available online and through store apps. The customers can also shop some of their favorite deals on the morning of Black Friday online, reports CNBC.

“Walmart will never be the retailer that broadcasts a great price on Black Friday and then ends up only having a few in stock”, said Bratspies. Often times, most stores open their doors at around midnight but Best Buy will open theirs at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, which gives their customers seven hours in advance to purchase any item they want, compared to others who plan on buying items in other stores.

Retailers have started releasing details about their holiday season deals, and many markdowns start as early as November 1.

All these offers are guaranteed if you show up to a brick and mortar Walmart location on Black Friday, in a move created to stop the fighting, mob mentality and moving torrents of humanity that is Black Friday.

JC Penney started opening Thanksgiving Day a year ago, while Target has opened since 2012 on Turkey Day.

Target will be offering Black Friday deals on select Apple products. Some 87% are looking for free shipping, and value it over fast delivery, but most – 60% – think they will be able to keep shopping for Christmas right until December 17 and still get packages sent for free. Some of the best deals that will available on this day are said to be tech deals.

Wal-Mart is also holding only one Black Friday doorbuster event, as opposed to multiple separate events offered last season.
