Amazon has lined up a slew of discounts on its own products as well as products from other manufacturers.

Holiday shoppers are wasting no time getting in on pre-Black Friday deals.

Not surprisingly, most retailers are beginning their sales early on Thanksgiving evening. Citing the history, Black Friday is indeed a great sale for customers during the holiday.

And a lot of the big high-street retailers, including Argos, Tesco, and John Lewis will be putting on special online-exclusive deals over the Black Friday – Cyber Monday weekend. Old Navy will be open on Thanksgiving at 4 p.m., Best Buy will open its stores Thanksgiving night at 5 p.m., and Target and Sports Authority will open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

Staples is offering big deals on headphones, speakers, LED monitors, and cell phone accessories this year. The online sale will include some of the most popular Black Friday items: tv, video games and appliances.

Thanksgiving Day used to be a day to spend at home with family eating turkey, watching football and napping.

Office Depot is expected to bring up surprising deals on high-tech products with discounts up to 70%. A recent poll of 1,500 U.S. customers showed that 63% of consumers plan to shop on Black Friday and around half of them plan to shop on Thanksgiving.

Toys R Us also released its discount advertisement for Black Friday. Some of the deals are also being promoted early, which means having them earlier than most.
