Black Pastor Speaks Out After Meeting With Trump, Reveals Exactly What
Despite Trump’s apparent concern for veterans, a veterans group leader has said that “Donald Trump is not a leader in veteran philanthropy”. More specifically, they’ve pointed to a 2013 blog post by conservative blogger Debbie Schlussel, in which she recalled watching an MTV report about the “thousands” of Muslim Americans cheering the attacks.
Peterson made his comments after Trump met Monday with black religious leaders (photo above), including pastors and evangelists, at his Trump Tower in Manhattan.
Earlier this month, a Black protester was roughed up by Trump supporters at a rally in Birmingham, Alabama. “And the 100 that went in there walked away with nothing, they did it for free”, he said.
“I’m wondering when you were cashing Donald Trump’s check was he the devil or did he evolve to become the devil in 2015?” “I don’t know it it’s an endorsement, I don’t know if it’s an endorsement by some”.
Some of the pastors who attended the meeting do support Trump, including former “Apprentice” contestant Omarosa Manigault, who is now an ordained minister.
The commercial shows Trump in CNN news coverage apparently talking about New York Times reporter Serge Kovaleski, who is handicapped with a muscular disability.
But when Giuliani was asked how many people were out celebrating, Giuliani’s numbers were minuscule compared to the “thousands and thousands” that Trump has claimed took to the New Jersey streets to celebrate the Twin Towers falling.
“Nobody at this meeting came out with negative reaction in any kind of way”, Scott said, adding that “Everybody in the room likes Donald Trump”.
Trump says he wasn’t asked in the meeting to change his tone: “The tone has taken me to first position in every single poll”.
Trump never mentioned the importance of black homeownership and the pastors never brought it up? But what they really want, Trump said, is firm and effective leadership.
“Probably some of the Black Lives Matter folks called them up and said, ‘You shouldn’t be meeting with Trump because he believes that all lives matter, ‘” he said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe”.
