Black Tuesday call by Pakistan for ‘martyr’ Wani
Srinagar-In occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities continued to impose strict curfew in the Kashmir Valley on 7th consecutive day, today, to prevent the people from staging demonstrations against the killing of Hizbul-Mujahideen commander, Burhan Wani, his two associates and 39 protesters killed by Indian troops in a period of one week.
“Now it is for Pakistan to decide that whether it wants to supports terrorists or it wants peace, prosperity and development in the nation”, said Naqvi.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the federal cabinet that held at the Governor House in Lahore on Friday. He added the “Indian brutalities” will give impetus to the freedom struggle, which even the seven hundred thousand Indian soldiers deployed in the Indian side of Kashmir could not suppress.
India dismissed Pakistan’s criticism of its handling of the situation in Jammu and Kashmir and accused the Asian neighbour of using terrorism as an instrument of state policy.
Swarup said the continued glorification of terrorists belonging to proscribed terrorist organisations makes it amply clear where Pakistan’s sympathies continue to lie.
“The clamp-down was necessitated as Pakistani channels that are beamed here through cable television network have launched a campaign aimed at fomenting trouble here”, an unnamed Jammu and Kashmir government minister told the Reuters news agency.
Sharif said that Kashmiris were fighting for their freedom and added that Indian atrocities would strengthen their resolve.
The cabinet members also chose to call a joint session of parliament to discuss the Kashmir issue, but a date for the session was not agreed upon.
People in large numbers attended the rallies, urging worldwide community to take notice of callous use of force in Indian-held Kashmir.
The meeting also condemned the terrorist attacks in France, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Turkey and Indonesia.
Aziz wrote letters to the UN Secretary-General, the President of the UN Security Council, the Secretary-General of the OIC, and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to express serious concern over the situation. Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid said the cabinet meeting was exclusively called to develop a consensus on extending full support to the Kashmirs.
