BlackBerry India launches Porsche smartphone at Rs 99990

BlackBerry has announced today availability of its Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite smartphone in India at Rs.

Considering the brand, many phone lovers would like to experiment with the same. “This new smartphone is custom-built for power professionals aiming to make a style statement while not willing to compromise on effective communication and collaboration”. Furthermore, Porsche Design has collaborated with BlackBerry for the first QWERTY version with BlackBerry 10 with specially crafted glass-like keys with the durability of rigid synthetic material, and a special 3D effect with silver font characters. The phone would indeed be a style statement along with performance and efficiency.

The new high-value product is an extension of Porsche Design P’9983 smartphone launched past year.

The Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite is having 3.1 Inch 720*720P Touch Screen with the pixel resolution of 330PPI. It is powered by a Qualcomm Dual-Core 1.5GHz (MSM8960) processor, paired with 2GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

On the connectivity, this luxurious device comes with 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, Micro HDMI, Global Positioning System GLONASS and powered by a 2100mAh battery. A physical QWERTY keyboard occupies the bottom half of the device. The additional personalized auto-correction and next word suggestion help to type faster, more accurately and with less effort.

The camera is yawning at best (and for the price) with an 8MP rear lens and a 2MP front-facing camera.

It has a 2100 mAh battery and being on BlackBerry 10, you can install Android apps and games from Amazon Appstore.

The Porsche Design P’9983 gets an exclusive Porsche Design PIN ID group – 2AAXXXXX, which sets the device easily recognizable among other Porsche Design users. The new premium smartphone from BlackBerry comes with such BlackBerry 10 features as BlackBerry Hub, BlackBerry Blend, and BlackBerry World (for downloading business and productivity apps). This will include a worldwide charging kit, a premium headphone, a polishing cloth and a high speed USB transfer cable.
