A rainy Thursday likely will be followed by a dry and mostly sunny weekend on Staten Island.

The rains will give way to sunny skies on Friday with temperatures in the mid 50s, according to NWS.
The National Weather Service advisory, in effect from noon to midnight Thursday, November 19, calls for wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour, particularly along the lake. Overnight lows will be in the mid 40s.
But on Saturday, the high is 58 degrees and the low is 37, and there is a 30 percent chance of rain between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., the service said. Clouds will cover the skies at night as the temperatures dip down to the upper 30s. With a high of just 40 on Saturday and clear skies in the evening, Arkansas Razorbacks fan will see the coldest tailgating and game watching of the year. Temperatures will drop to the lower 30s at night.
